The Jeep Liberty Eagle - TV Commercial Fully articulated puppet |
 |
The Jeep Liberty Eagle - My favorite re-creation to date! Made from Chicken, Peacock and Domestic goose feathers - no kidding! Spent 4.5 weeks on this one with my very good friend Lindsay MacGowan who keyed the project at the studio that hired me. This piece was completely articulated -- Head, neck, eyes, eyelids, eyebrows, wings legs and tail all moved! It was assembled one feather at a time -- about 1,500 to 2,000 feathers glued on with tweezers - yikes! |

Flamingos - These are re-creations made from domestic goose and duck feathers dyed pink. These were used in a brief sequence in a TV commercial - I REALLY enjoyed making these, and look forward to doing one for the World Show competition. My Thanks to Jim Kimball, who works for me, for his invaluable assistance. |

This was my favorite of the group |

Wings for the Jeep Liberty Eagle -- These were made separately for a flying sequence at the beginning of the commercial - took about 2.5 weeks to make these alone. |

Paulie from "Paulie a Parrots Tale" Motion Picture My first movie project, and my introduction to Lindsay MacGowan who became a great friend. Paulie was also my introduction to feather-by-feather assembly. Puppet was completely articulated. |

This was one of the strangest re-creations to date! A wonderful artist from New York, comissioned me to build this parrot for a project she had designed. As you can see there's a SPEAKER in the middle of his chest! The mandible opened and closed in time to a recorded playback that repeated whatever noise it 'heard' near it. Yump! There's a little something out there for everyone! |

Klamath Bank Pelican - Tv Commercial Made for a series of commercials for this Oregon bank, it was my FIRST re-creation! Head swivels 90 degrees. Simple, but I still like it! |
